The Global Education Project is a Canadian non-governmental organization with a 15-year history of publishing fact-packed educational wall posters and producing live events to educate about important issues of the environment and global growth/change. This organization adheres to rigorous standards and strives for an impartial and comprehensive presentation of the most relevant information necessary for both accurate and adequate education in our publishing efforts. All sources are carefully chosen and cited.

One Climate, One Future, One Chance

Idle-Free VT is a non-profit, grassroots campaign formed to address the issue of unnecessary vehicle idling (idling when not in traffic) in Vermont. Its goals are to raise awareness of idling and to get a Vermont state all motor vehicle idle-reduction law enacted. Idle-Free VT seeks to achieve its goals through media exposure, legislative lobbying, raising awareness with citizens and businesses, and encouraging local activism and efforts (town ordinances or resolutions and school policies).

The 10% Challenge is a voluntary program to raise public awareness about global climate change and to encourage households and businesses to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions by at least 10 percent.

This links to a Canadian based network pursuing policy change in Canada to promote a cleaner environment.

 

Governmentally Environmental 

This is a project of the Environmental Defense Fund.

Their site offers information about the dangers of Global Warming, the science, the facts versus the myths, and solutions that they offer.  They have some good information about how we individually, can unite to solve Global Warming.
